I’ve been looking at differing web based APIs/Frameworks over the last three months in an effort to move away once, and hopefully for all, from ‘traditional’ web Java development. With a plethora of RIAs hitting the market to add to those that already are there, now seems like a good time to look at what is in the market.
With this in mind, I, along with the Singapore Java Meetup will be hosting a RIA presentation shoot out with the three big players in this space sometime in June 2008. We are just waiting confirmation from the speakers, but fingers crossed we should have presentations from Adobe (Flex), Microsoft (SilverLight) and Sun (JavaFX).
